Nonprofit Executive Roundtable Breakfast

StratusLIVE hosts event exclusively for nonprofit executives and industry leaders.

On July 23, 2014, StratusLIVE hosted a Nonprofit Executive Roundtable Breakfast at the Washington Marriott at Metro Center in Washington, D.C.

More than a dozen large nonprofits participated, representing a variety of charitable causes such as wildlife conservation, community leadership, international health and welfare, disaster relief, and animal rights, as well as various nonprofit membership organizations.

Designed to facilitate open participation, attendees discussed the successes, solutions, and challenges facing today’s enterprise-level nonprofit organizations. Some of the proposed discussion topics included:

  • Nonprofit Enterprise-Class Systems
    • Which way forward for your CRM and fundraising?
  • Constituent and Donor Engagement
    • How are you building relationships to fuel your mission?
  • Business Intelligence for Nonprofits
    • What is your data trying to tell you?

These discussions were meant to address the larger concerns of nonprofit executives, which can be summed up in the following question: “How do enterprise nonprofits use modern digital solutions to improve constituent relationships, enhance fundraising, and produce business intelligence to achieve their mission?”

Some of the themes to emerge from the discussion included data-driven marketing, leveraging mobile devices and applications, connecting with supporters via social media, donor relationship-centric fundraising in the form of Nonprofit CRM systems, the future of online donations, and more.

StratusLIVE's Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Jim Funari moderated the discussions and was accompanied by Bill Donnelly, StratusLIVE Chief Operating Officer and EVP, as well as Michael Kowalski, StratusLIVE Business Development Manager.

StratusLIVE looks forward to hosting another event in the upper Midwest this fall.
