Values Matter: Core Values and What They Mean

StratusLIVE focuses on three core values: excellence, integrity, and innovation.

In all aspects of business, whether in creating new enhancements for our Nonprofit CRM or Online Giving platforms or in the content we produce to help the nonprofit community tackle a topic they may be struggling to overcome, we want to be sure that we stay true to those core values consistently.

What are your organizations' core values?

These guiding principles serve several purposes, two examples are:

  • internally, they help motivate your teams when working towards your mission
  • externally, they offer transparency to our donors (thus creating more loyal donors)

Ultimately, your core values keep your mission front and center in all communication, on your website, in email, during meetings, through phone calls, and the like.

You may have taken a bit of a break at the start of the year, but now that your teams have had a chance to catch their breath from the sprint closing of 2020, we suggest you take some time to review your core values and what they mean. It can be inspiring to remember the why of your work, and this Spring fundraising season is the perfect place to start.

For some inspiration, below is the latest video on Our Core Values and what they mean for nonprofits.
