Press Release: 2020 User Conference & Highlights of Near-Term Roadmap

StratusLIVE, a leading provider of cloud-based solutions for nonprofits, foundations, and workplace federations, announced today that they will be unveiling the highlights of their near-term roadmap at the 2020 Virtual User Conference scheduled for December 9-10, 2020.

“The challenges of 2020 highlight the urgency of digital transformation in light of the pandemic; this digital transformation's speed drives our focus to meet our client's new realities and possibilities. We are excited to announce compelling new functionality available in the StratusLIVE 365 and StratusLIVE Ignite product suites in the face of this new reality. We continue to improve our product with innovative functionality based on market feedback and the feedback we hear from our clients,” comments Jim Funari, StratusLIVE CEO.

The company is currently focused on four areas of new and enhanced functionality:

  1. Digital Transformation and Online Engagement
  2. Collaborative, Remote Work Experiences – Integrations with Teams and Outlook
  3. Insightful Analytics to provide data-driven guidance
  4. Embedded Expertise and Just-in-Time learning and training experiences

Digital Transformation and Online Engagement:

The disruption in our ability to physically engage with constituents is driving a more intense focus on digital engagement and the necessary transformation of old models to enhanced online or technology-enabled models.   StratusLIVE is excited to share the expansion of the Ignite suite, providing support for more engagement, giving modes, and scenarios. This includes support for virtual and hybrid events, new giving scenarios like Team-based, DIY and Peer-to-Peer fundraising, consolidated administration and analytics, and finally, new capabilities designed specifically for online donors called the Ignite Donor Hub. Nonprofits need every means of engaging digitally with their constituents. The StratusLIVE Ignite Donor Hub is a personalized, modern web application designed to create a more permanent or ‘sticky’ relationship between a nonprofit and its donors.  With Ignite Donor Hub, nonprofits can empower their donors to make lasting change through giving and volunteering.

Collaborative, Remote Work Experiences – Integration with Teams and Outlook:

With the introduction and widespread adoption of Microsoft Teams (currently 115 million daily Teams users), a new environment for staff collaboration and communication is emerging. Team-based collaboration around chat, meetings, knowledge management, video conferencing, and integrated telecommunications is literally changing the nature of work.  StratusLIVE 365 directly integrates with Microsoft Outlook and Teams to facilitate a new model of CRM utilization and interaction. Organizations can interact with all aspects of their donor data from StratusLIVE 365 seamlessly within Teams and Outlook, and organize departmental team members around common channels and functions using the new nonprofit Teams taxonomy from StratusLIVE.

Insightful Analytics and Data-Driven Guidance:

Real-time insights and guidance derived from data analytics have never been more important for nonprofit organizations. With increasing pressures to raise funds in tough economic conditions, rapid feedback on the ROI of marketing and appeal activities is critically important. StratusLIVE is introducing the long-awaited capability of embedding the insight of the industry-leading Power BI analytical toolset in StratusLIVE 365. It is no longer necessary to configure and operate Power BI as a separate and external application for dashboards and analytics.  With the addition of new Power BI-based analytical dashboards for key metrics and audience analysis, the result is measurable increases in productivity, efficiency, and ease of product use.

Embedded Expertise and Just-in-Time Learning/Training:

With many staff members working remotely, fewer opportunities exist for ad-hoc conversations and peer assistance. Along with staff turnover, these changes in the new working environment result in less knowledge transfer among users and more challenges in product usage and execution. StratusLIVE has added new capabilities for ‘just-in-time’ training and expertise through a partnership with ClickLearn, a learning and education product available within StratusLIVE 365 on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform. Users can access ‘how to’ contextual training via guides, tips, and videos within StratusLIVE’s products.

Building for the Future is the focus of our 2020 User Conference. During the 2-day virtual event, the StratusLIVE team will outline the deployment of this new and enhanced functionality and will run through live demonstrations to provide hands-on instructions to clients to help them utilize all new features right away. With integrity, excellence, and innovation at the heart of the company, StratusLIVE strives to continuously make a positive impact on the nonprofit community through its everyday work on Software for Social Good.
