StratusLIVE Announces Roadshow Series for Nonprofit Professionals

StratusLIVE, an industry leader of software for social good, announced today their roadshow series, The Future of Fundraising. This series will be held in four US cities this fall. By partnering with other subject matter experts in the fields of development and nonprofit technology, this intimate event will inspire conversation and explore new, innovative strategies, all designed for fundraising, development, and marketing professionals.

The Future of Fundraising invites nonprofit professionals within Washington D.C., New York City, Chicago, Seattle, and the surrounding areas to learn and consider current and upcoming trends within development. The agenda will differ from city to city; however, some of the topics to explore include:

  • Creating a Community of Supporters that Sustains presented by Dr. Otis Fulton, VP for Psychological Strategy, and Kate Bullard, VP of Client Engagement and Partner, Turnkey Consulting

Turnkey’s VP Client Engagement will talk with social psychologist Dr. Otis Fulton about the psychology of people who are engaged in a community to make things happen, and how nonprofits can channel their passion for change.

  • The Next Chapter in Digital Tech: Replacing Busywork with Joy presented by Allison Fine, Author, Technology for Social Good Strategist, and Board Member

Allison Fine will present an overview of what Smart Tech is and how it can remake work from her recent book written with Beth Kanter, The Smart Nonprofit. 

Attendees will also hear from other renowned fundraising experts including Courtney Van Shura and Meghan Leffner of MedStar Health and Paige Deegan of Heller Consulting.

In addition to these learning opportunities, attendees will participate in honest conversation discussing current challenges facing the industry:

  • Why does work feel so exhausting and unfulfilling today? How can Smart Tech remake work, so nonprofit staff can build relationships, tell stories, or just think?
  • How can we create a culture of joy in our fundraising departments that helps us not only retain staff but become more effective at our jobs?
